Shop 4 miles, pub 0.5 miles.

Reviews
Excellent setting for the North Broads and the coast and access to Norwich. Walking down from the house to where the map marked an EU Bittern project, we spent five miutes watching a barn owl hunt in a field by the lane. We enjoyed visiting the Horsey Windpump with the walk to the beach to see the seals and then round to Horsey village to visit the beautiful historic church. We travelled easy distances to visit Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall. The museum of the Broads at Stalham gives a fascinaing insight in to aspects of Broads life. We were fortunate that we were there the last weekend in October as many places were closing for the winter that weekend.

If you want a get away from it all location then this is for you. Beautiful view. A fishermans delight (my small son even tried his hand).

Cromer (noted for its crabs and pier), Sheringham and Hunstanton are also firm family favourites. Venture inland and you’ll discover a gently rolling landscape dotted with flint cottages and ancient churches.
The county town of Norwich is one of England’s best-preserved cities and is a joy to wander around. Don’t miss a visit to the magnificent cathedral towering above the surrounding medieval streets. East of the city lie the Norfolk Broads, a vast expanse of interconnected lakes and waterways which has long been a firm favourite with sailors. Hire a boat for a day to see them at their best. Less
well-known are the mysterious Brecks, a wilderness area of heaths and forests and one of the least-populated parts of the country.
